GLOBAL CULTURE MOVEMENT
Background
GCM was born out of an understanding of the Mission of God, which relates to cultural sensitivity, total participation, a drive for monitoring international relations and improvement of the human situation. In August 2006, with some participants from the United States of America and Ghana, the movement launched its first program reaching Muslims, brothels, churches, outcasts and the marginalized in Accra, Cape Coast and Kumasi, cities of Ghana in West Africa. The founder and current Coach of the Movement, Samuel Prempeh, is a missiologist, a theologian and an alumnus of Fuller Theological Seminary (the Change Leader and domain of Intercultural relations and the Church Growth Movement of the World), International Theological Seminary (LA) and Asbury Theological Seminary all in the United States. Samuel who teaches at the Ghana Baptist Seminary is now pursuing a PhD program in International Development after some postgraduate studies at Asbury. Joana Kyei-Prempeh is the Vice President of GCM.
